Johnson Controls Global Marine and Navy business delivers HVAC, Fire Protection & Refrigeration solutions to a wide range of applications within the Cruise, Offshore, Naval and Marine markets. As a member of our sales team, you will be focused at driving new sales service. With our office based in Singapore, you will form part of our established Service Sales Teams based across the world.What you will doAs a Service sales engineer, you will be responsible for targeting existing customer growth by promoting and selling our after sales services pertaining to spares on Fire, HVAC, Refrigeration and chillers within our segment. This will also include commercial marine jobsWe are seeking people with passion, enthusiasm and the tenacity to seek those opportunities then execute on them. You will be supported by enterprise tools, data sets, valuable customer insight and value selling concepts to deliver targeted growth. You will also ensure effective adoption of company systems, tools, pricing policies and sales processes. Through using our current market intelligence and industry networking tools you will blend field activity with conversations with new clients to capture any opportunities available to you.Salesforce.com is the CRM tool within the business and our Marketing function is also able to support with external communications and tailoring customer campaigns you require to assist you with performing your growth strategy.How you will do itResponsible and accountable for end-to-end ownership of sales generation of quotes by checking different company platforms as well as reach out to vendors in the market to serve the customer needs.Thoroughly read the customer requirements and understand the commercialsPrepare the quotations for submission to clientsFollow up with vendors for quotationsCheck discrepancy in material code/description of material and suggest correct part numbersMaintain data of all documents throughout the process from quotation till invoiceTeam player by supporting the FLS addressing L&M jobs.Traveling and site visits to ships to visit clients and potential clients as required to develop solutions, where limited information may be availableWhat we look forBachelors in Engineering with 5-7 years of experience within the marine or offshore MarketKnowledge on HVAC/Refrigeration Systems/chillers and handling of HVAC/AC projects is highly desirableProven track record of achieving results and closing deals in field sales and in-depth knowledge of parts / spares support and pipeline managementExcellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey value propositions and build relationships with potential clientsAbility to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutionsAbility to quickly adapt to new technologies and sales techniques to stay ahead in the marketWhat we offer:Competitive salaryPaid vacation/holidays/sick timeComprehensive benefits packageOn the job/cross training opportunitiesEncouraging and collaborative team environmentDedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy#LI-YL2#LI-Onsite
