- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve order and revenue targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and contracts.
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to management.
- Exhibit a proactive leadership approach and mentorship to internal teams, inspiring teams to take ownership to align business actions.
- Continuously challenge and follow up with the technical and operational teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements and business commitments.
- Foster a collective achievement mindset by working closely with all teams to ensure aligned goals and mutual success.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or Business/Marketing (with technical background).
- Proven experience (10 to 15 years) as a Business Development Manager, Sales
- Executive, or in a similar role within a service-based company.
- Ability to perform with minimal guidance, be proactive, results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and motivate teams.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and proposal writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to speak French or Malay would be an advantage to liaise with the other offices.
