This role involves hands-on maintenance work, contractor supervision, and stakeholder engagement to uphold high standards of service and operational readiness.Job Description
  • Conduct daily inspections of building facilities and key systems to ensure operational readiness.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to stakeholder feedback and service requests.
  • Assist in resolving building defects and support improvement projects and campus events.
  • Supervise contractors performing preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Liaise with term contractors to assign tasks and ensure compliance with service standards and contractual obligations.
  • Manage procurement processes for goods and services in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Participate in fire safety activities and serve as an in-house fire warden.
  • Perform basic hands-on maintenance tasks (e.g. changing bulbs, painting, patching, masonry work) when required.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned to support facilities operations.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities operations. Fresh degree holders are welcome to apply.
  • Working knowledge of building systems including ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation), BMS (Building Management System), electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and lift systems, etc.
  • Resourceful and technically competent in identifying and implementing effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders and contractors.
  • Willingness to perform hands-on tasks when necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays and evenings, when required, to meet operational needs.
