- Research & Strategy Support: Conduct ecosystem scans, stakeholder mapping, and conduct research to inform program development, strategy support and pipeline building.
- Insight Generation & Learning: Gather and synthesise insights from reports, data, field interactions, and broader sector developments. Translate key learnings into clear, actionable outputs such as internal notes, briefs, or presentations to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Knowledge Management: Manage and maintain internal knowledge systems, including trackers, learning repositories, and reflection tools. Ensure program documentation is accessible, and institutional memory is preserved.
- Communications & Storytelling: Support visibility and storytelling by developing high-quality content, including grantee spotlights, learning snapshots, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Thought Leadership & Sector Engagement: Support the Foundation’s contribution to broader ecosystem dialogues by helping shape panel talking points, event content, and co-authored pieces with partners.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline is an advantage.
- Experience: Demonstrated track record and deep familiarity with research methodologies relevant to the philanthropy, nonprofit, or climate landscape, ideally acquired through prior applied work or cross-sectoral collaboration.
- Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of climate and development issues in Asia. Ability to connect program-level insights to wider ecosystem trends and narratives.
- Insight Synthesis: Demonstrated ability to gather and analyse information from a range of sources and distil them into clear, actionable insights or communications.
- Strategic Communications: Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and format for different audiences.
- Knowledge & Systems Orientation: Experience managing knowledge repositories and workflows that enable team learning and documentation. Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
- Collaboration & Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively across functions and adapt to evolving priorities. Comfortable taking initiative and contributing to cross-team learning.
