- Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and laboratory classes for both full-time and part-time students.
- Ensure engaging and effective learning experiences across various instructional formats.
- Participate in joint projects with industry partners to enhance the practical relevance of academic programs.
- Build and maintain partnerships that support curriculum enrichment and student development.
- Plan, review, design, and develop course and subject materials to align with academic standards and evolving industry needs.
- Supervise students during internships, providing mentorship and guidance to support their career growth.
- Organise local and overseas study trips to broaden students' learning experiences.
- Collaborate with alumni through partnership programs to facilitate networking and career development opportunities.
- Qualification in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in the facility management sector or a sustainability consultancy firm.
- Practical experience in the adoption or implementation of technologies such as Smart Facility Management, BIM for FM, Digital Twin, Building IoT, or Data Analytics to enhance operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.
- Strong working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of key building systems, particularly:
- a) Building Management Systems (BMS)
- b) Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV)
- c) Security and Surveillance Systems
- Possession of relevant certifications is an added advantage, including:
- a) Fire Safety Manager (FSM) (for commercial buildings with at least two years of experience)
- b) Autodesk Revit Certified Professional/Associate
- c) BIM Certification
- d) Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP)
- e) IT-related certifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a passion for sharing knowledge and engaging with youth.
