- To independently undertake research in the development of high-performance light-emitting nanodevices.
- To lead the production of research reports and publications as required by the grantor.
- To assist PI in supervising the students involved in the project.
- To undertake any other duties relevant to the research project.
- PhD in materials chemistry, optical physics, chemical engineering, or strongly related fields.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues.
- Demonstrated a high level of formal written and oral communication skills.
- Evidence of contributions to research including peer-reviewed publications.
- UV-Vis spectroscopy, TEM, SEM, Circular dichroism spectra, Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry, bright/dark field microscope design, interference microscope design, etc.
- Experience in the preparation and characterization of luminescent nanomaterials including organic-inorganic hybrid materials, as well as nanodevice fabrication.
