The Assistant Manager, Business Development, will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of PACE’s continuing education programmes, specifically focusing on the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) and Short Courses. This role involves managing the end-to-end process of programme delivery, developing and executing business development and sales activities, converting leads into enrolments, and maintaining strong relationships with prospective learners and corporate clients.Responsibilities:Responsible for the end-to-end process of the assigned programmes, from programme launch to marketing and recruitment, and execution of plans to ensure on-target and high-quality deliverySystematically prospect for and convert leads into sales, including managing and responding to enquires, constantly engage prospective learners with regular updates of the programmes, and eventually work towards having them sign up for the programmesRespond to phone and email inquiries from prospective learners as needed and occasionally call on prospective corporate clients to promote the portfolio of programmesCollaborate with Marketing Team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital and social media as well as traditional platforms, to ensure programmes are effectively and adequately marketedCollaborate with Operations Team to ensure smooth delivery of courses and learners’ journey and experience managementPropose and support business development and sales activities, with a focus on demand generation, lead nurturing and client conversion to increase quality enrollmentsCreate and coordinate development of presentation materials to support lead and sales generationQualifications:Degree qualification from a recognized university with minimum 5 years of inbound and outbound sales experience; experience in consultative selling and key account management will be a strong plus.Proven ability to convert leads into sales, demonstrated success from the funnel and leads management to close sales.Customer focus, with proven ability to develop trusting working relationships with colleagues and business partners with high expectationsSelf-motivated and results-oriented team player with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
