What the role is:The Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) was reconstituted from the Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) on 1 August 2022. GRA is a statutory board under the Ministry of Home Affairs and is responsible for regulating the gambling landscape in Singapore. We protect the people by keeping gambling honest and free of criminal influence, and minimising the harm from gambling. We strive to be a trusted and agile gambling regulator for a safe Singapore. To build public awareness and improve public engagements, GRA will be enhancing our digital presence through Facebook (FB) and Instagram (IG) in 2024. The Communications and International Relations Branch (CIR) is looking for a social media intern to help develop social media assets for our FB and IG platforms. The intern should have a strong interest in content creation and development, as well as understanding and familiarity with social media platforms. The intern will support the work of CIR by proposing suitable content and liaising with GRA's appointed social media vendor. When required, the intern should also provide support (content, logistics) for the production of reels, videos, etc.What you will be working on:As a social media intern, your role is to execute GRA's social media strategy through the careful curation and development of content for FB and IG. You will be expected to work with GRA's appointed social media vendor. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: • Development of social media content (Produce FB write-ups, IG stories, static posts, reels etc.) • Management of the online community within specified guidelines • Promotion of GRA's social media platforms and contentWhat we are looking for:
  • Candidates should ideally be pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Digital & Social media, Marketing, Communication Studies or a related field. • Good written and verbal communication skills will be required. • Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, video and photography skills will be an advantage. • Knowledge of social media and content management and analysis tools will be an advantage. • Candidates should be able to commit full time, with a minimum of 3 months
