Construction Manager

• Overseeing and coordinating all construction activities related to the project.
• Managing construction teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, monitoring progress and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within designated time frame and budget.
• Develop and implement construction plans and schedules to meet project milestones and objectives
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for construction activities
• Provide guidance and support to construction personnel, fostering a safe and productive work environment
• Conduct regular meetings with teams to review progress, address issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries on the construction site
• Implement QA/QC processes to ensure construction activities meet specific standards and requirements
• Collaborate with project engineers and quality assurance teams to resolve quality related issues and implement improvement
• Monitor construction costs and expenditures to ensure adherence to the project budget.
• Identify cost- saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize resource utilization without compromising quality or safety standards
• Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts to track project expenses and provide updates to project stakeholders.
• Liaise with project owners, engineers, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to communicate project status, address concern and facilitate smooth project execution

• Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or equivalent
• Minimum 20 years of hands on experience preferable in LNG terminal construction / Mechanical Completion for FSRU / onshore LNG
• Well versed in Singapore and International codes and standards
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, practices and regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Willing to take on contract job - 18 -24 months
