What the role is:Technical Executive (School of Health and Social Sciences)What you will be working on:Perform scheduled checks and maintenance of IT equipment and updates of software at their designated venues.Maintain records/logs of IT equipment and software inventory, repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule. Identify these equipment and software for shortages/replacements, including those for condemnation, and place orders.Provide technical support to users on how to operate IT equipment and software. Liaise with stakeholders to solve IT problems/issues when necessary.Assist in the School system administration and duties.Assist the School IT team in ICT new initiative as well as supporting the team in existing technical duties and responsibilities. These include e-assessment duties, cybersecurity, network, server, PCs & peripheral support and maintenance.Involve in committees, project work or quality improvement teams.What we are looking for:Diploma in IT or equivalent.At least 2 years related working experience.The candidate shall also possess the following:Customer-service oriented, motivated, resourceful, responsible and team-player.Good diagnostic, problem-solving and time-management skills.About Nanyang Polytechnic:Nanyang Polytechnic is committed to providing quality education and training to prepare our graduates for life and work, equipping them to contribute to the technological, economic and social development of Singapore.
