- Conducts start-up applications training for customers either in their laboratories or at Thermo Fisher Scientific training centers.
- Performs product demonstrations at customer sites or company locations.
- Provides troubleshooting support to customers in the field or remotely via phone/email.
- Resolves customer issues and complaints, escalating when necessary.
- Reports technical trends in the territory by communicating customer concerns and issues to internal partners.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills and adaptability in situations with limited standardization.
- Manages schedules effectively and negotiates conflicts.
- Works independently, showing self-motivation and proactivity.
- Trains, coaches, and mentors team members.
- Possesses a customer-centric attitude and stays informed about markets, trends, and competitors.
- Manages expenses, schedules, and tracks activities.
- Embraces and leverages diversity of culture and thought.
- May be assigned additional related duties as required.
- 5+ years of laboratory or related work experience.
- Experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and/or Microarray is essential.
- Experience in a clinical, diagnostics, and/or regulated market is a plus
- Strong ability to present technical information in written and verbal forms.
