You will be part of the Port and industry integration Planning team that formulates and implements the port-industry integration plan to fulfil the strategies set out under the Port Master Plan for Singapore's Next Generation Port (NGP).What you will be working on:[What you will be working on]The key responsibilities include:Master planning of submarine cables for electricity and communicationLiaising with authorities on working meetings and planning matters for regulation of submarine cable routesCarrying out the production of planning and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and GISProcurement and maintenance of engineering and operational software and hardware for drawing and GISParticipate in feasibility studies, soil investigation works and planning of submarine cable routesManaging consultants and/or contractors on submarine cables pre-laying and laying worksWhat we are looking for:Candidates with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in planning and design and/or project implementation of maritime infrastructureCandidates who have knowledge and experience in AutoCAD and GIS preferredGood verbal and written communication skills.Details-oriented.About Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore:"The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) was established on 2 February 1996, with the mission to develop Singapore as a premier global hub port and international maritime centre (IMC), and to advance and safeguard Singapore's strategic maritime interests.
