Project Engineer (1 year contract/Data Centre)

• Assist and support Project Manager.
• Liaison with consultants, contractors, authorities to support delivery of the project.
• Identify, track and pursue opportunities to design, de-risk programme, manage budget and project quality.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions & variation orders, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Conduct regular project review meetings with Consultants and contractors both on and off site and report to Management on a regular basis.
• Advise and maintain standards for monitoring design and construction programme, cost control and project information systems to ensure successful project delivery
• Prepare fortnightly/monthly reports to provide accurate information to the Management on the project including relevant financial and cash-flow reports.
• Develop and implement a robust and complete handover system from construction to operational phases.
• Ensure the proper and complete handover of the completed works to the Facilities Management Team
• Any task which may be assigned from time to time

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related disciplines, accompanied by 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in Data Centre Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and a team player with a good interpersonal skill.
• Relevant experience in the M&E design and Consultancy firm an advantage.
• Well versed in local codes of practice and standards an advantage.
