- Understand the bank’s DevOps strategy and implementing automation solutions to improve the bank’s software delivery pipeline.
- This role requires broad engagement with application delivery teams across the bank, helping them adopt DevOps pipeline solutions to improve delivery efficiency and maturity.
- Understand the bank’s software delivery processes and implement solutions in line with the bank’s compliance and security requirement.
- Work collaboratively with a team of diverse engineers in sprint delivery. Produce technical documentation and prepare training materials on the solutions being delivered and provide technical support. Conduct briefing and/or training sessions to application delivery teams to help them get onboarded and accelerate adoption.
- Understand bank’s risk management framework and embed that into the technology solution being delivered.
- Understand bank’s software delivery & quality assurance framework and assist in solutioning in respective governance activity.

- 8+ years of development experience building complex web applications and systems using Node.js, HTML5, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to support our applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, best practices, and maintainability.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing systems and codebase.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and scale applications in a production environment.
- Embrace Agile methodologies to ensure the timely delivery of software solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
- Hands-on experience in implementing software solutions using Node.js, Typescript / JavaScript, HTML5, REST APIs
- Hands-on experience in full-stack development, from front-end to back-end. Having good experience of using both SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) is required
- Experience in DevOps with exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible is desirable
- Experience with Unix and Windows host operating systems, scripting (Bash/Shell or PowerShell) & networking is desirable
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS EC2 as well as container platform such as Docker and Kubernetes is bonus
