Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.Position Summary:We are looking for a highly driven and talented bioinformatics engineer or software engineer to join the DRAGEN verification Team.The team focus on developing tools to analyze large genomic datasets, setting up a CI/CD and automated testing infrastructure and improving the databases and websites that we use for the verification activities.Responsibilities:Work independently in cross-functional teams to lead the testing effort for data analysis softwarePartner with software, bioinformatics developers and domain experts in designing, performing, and improving verification testsDesign and Implement automated software verification framework and scriptsPrepare necessary test artifacts required for formal software / product releaseDevelop and execute automated testsCarefully analyze and report test resultsParticipate in Code and Design ReviewsEnsure Software Development Life Cycle procedures are followedCollaborate with peers to identify opportunities for process improvementAll listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional tasks and responsibilities.Requirements:Experience developing software applications utilizing a high level language such as Python, Java, C# or C++ requiredStrong software engineering fundamentals: OOP, data structures, SOLID principles, unit testing, TDD, SQLBachelor/ Masters / PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computational Biology or releveant fieldsHave an understanding of Bioinformatics, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Oncology or related field of biologyExperience in designing or architecting automated verification framework and testsExperience with CI/CD, Continuous Testing and related tools such as JenkinsExperience with cloud technologies such as AWS and docker.Experience working in a Linux environment.
