The candidate should be familiar with a distributed, containerized architecture from a design, development and DevOps perspective.The team works in a fast-paced, challenging environment, highly agile with other senior technology engineers, testers and business analysts.The ideal candidate will have worked in the financial services industry.The person must be able to work independently while coordinating with a team that will be located around the globe. This presents an excellent opportunity to learn and grow as a software developer in the investment management industry.Responsibilities

Analysing and interpreting requirements from architecture and the business analysis teams
Responsible for developing and implementing user interface components, middleware or server/database side as needed
Designing and building efficient, well tested, and reusable code
Ensuring responsiveness of applications
Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application code
Monitoring and improving application performance

Eligibility Requirements

Knowledge of performance testing frameworks
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Hands-on .NET Core / C# skills required
Proficient in SQL for SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
Demonstrable experience in Unit Test design and implementation
Knowledgeable in OOD techniques
Previous experience with Agile development using Scrum / Kanban, Jira
Familiar with DevOps practices
Demonstrable experience with Kafka / micro-service architecture, etc.
Knowledge and experience working with AWS technologies such as EC2, SQS, Aurora, EKS
Financial services investment experience at a bank or asset manager / hedge fund including securities and other financial instruments
Previous experience in the financial service's regulatory domain specifically in EU and APAC
