So we’re looking to team up with people who are wildly passionate about making an impact and be part of a dynamic team, in a workplace with no corporate BS (yes, you read that right!).The RoleYou will be responsible for driving our visual merchandising strategy at a global level to ensure that we delight and excite our growing LB community through relevant showcasing of our assortment. This role is a true blend of a creative yet commercial profile and works alongside many stakeholders in the business. To start with, the role will be more focused on the offline side given our stores are our key branding touchpoints and is a growth channel for us.Main responsibilities
  • Global strategy to delight customers and optimise revenue from our assortment
  • Create the best store experiences for LB customers with clear store zoning and eye-catching displays that can increase the sales whilst communicating about our brand ethos
  • Work closely with the Buying & Merchandising team in terms of assortment curation and displays
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of VM globally, against marketing and retail goals, propose solutions to drive awareness and impact on sales & branding
  • Respond to in store signages and VM assets. Create the design brief and align with the Creative team and Graphic Designers team. Including the store LED and TV Screen content brief
  • Lead visual merchandising execution
  • Support Designer, Campaign team, Merchandising or Branding team to create the strong Theme or Story to launch related to seasonality, Occasion or Event at each market.
  • Create the VM guideline for stores team to execute separate to main 2 guidelines
  • Standard setting: As a Retail Bible to make sure that the display is commercial and impacts sales and customers shopping behaviour e.g. zoning, store style count, optimum unit to display (to be updated quarterly for new store openings and bi-annually for more mature stores)
  • Weekly or Monthly Update: To update the theme of new arrivals to the store to highlight mannequin outfits, focus items, wall display focus - working closely with the Design & Development team from curation through to Buying & Merchandising team in terms of data & insights as well as store teams in terms of execution
  • Develop training tools such as visual merchandising manuals and guidebooks for the in-store teams on product placement, product journey, product flow, and product features.
  • Assist in the procurement, creation and installation of props for visual merchandising of all stores and counters
  • Develop guideline for multi-styling across channels - this is carved out as a strategy project
  • Stakeholder management and leadership
  • This role will leads and develop the visual merchandising team globally
  • Collaborate with Design and Development, Buying & Merchandising and Brand teams to develop a strong storytelling theme launch related to seasonality, occasions or events at each market
  • Work closely with Country heads especially to translate that vision into offline environment (e.g. mannequins, zoning guideline, comms guideline)
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in international VM strategies in a global role within the fast fashion retail environment (including retail marketing, visual merchandising and/or product merchandising)
  • Possess a clear understanding of assortment led brand while uniting the visual merchandising story in all Love, Bonito stores
  • Dedication to teamwork and team development.
  • Extensive visual background with experience in a large-scale vertical retail environment.
  • Demonstrated experience crafting engaging and inspiring in-store displays
  • A great team player with strong communication competencies, also being able to motivate others and moderate delicate or complex topics in a professional manner in a diverse environment
  • Able to visualise big picture results, but treat details with exceptional care
  • An up-to-date awareness of global fashion, retail and market trends
  • An ability to thrive in an ever-changing and dynamic environment with professionalism, responsiveness and flexibility under critical pressure
  • Excellent managerial and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple ongoing projects
  • A self-starter with a proactive and hands-on attitude with enthusiasm to work and achieve as part of a team. Get it done right, and fast!
  • Experienced in VM Budget planning and control
  • Basic knowledge in design programs such as Sketch up and/or Illustrator
