- Oversee and lead the team of technicians, trainees, and contract technicians on maintenance activities to meet scheduled targets as determined by the customers and liaising with any sub-contractors to support engine operations
- Planning, assigning, and deploying manpower for engine task(s) daily, including responding to Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) situations and activating team for aircraft/engine recovery within the stipulated time frame
- Review of technical documents and advise customers on acceptability of tasks based on approved capabilities
- Coordinate with Customer Support to provide updates to customers on the status of planned and ongoing engine checks as well as business-related matters respectively
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to grow capacity and capability, and grow the COE business, e.g. Quality & Training, for training courses and the subsequent qualification of technicians as Authorisation Holders (AHs); Supply Chain Group for purchase of new tools/equipment; industry partners to develop and adopt advanced BSI inspection technologies etc.
- Build up source-controlled and other repair capabilities to support increasing demand for new repairs from airline customers
- Ensuring a high level of housekeeping within the workspace on matters relating to safety and quality, industrial practices and the condition of support and operational equipment and tooling
- Occasional duty travel as required
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aerospace MRO environment, preferably in the field of Engine MRO or similar services
- Min 3 years of experience in leading a team or be in leadership position
- Experience working with engine OEMs and airlines
- Familiar with CAAS, FAA and EASA FAR Part 145 regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to deal with different stakeholders
