It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.About the DepartmentGroup Finance and Corporate Services manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.Group Finance support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group. The Projects and Centre of Excellence team within Group Finance supports the Finance Operations units in identifying and driving process improvement. The team works in partnership with the stakeholders on productivity, value-adding and other initiatives to achieve our strategic objectives.Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for identifying and driving process improvement and transformation to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Review, re-engineer and design processes and/or workflow that are portable and scalable
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to solution and manage change to deliver joint initiatives
  • Participate in projects initiated under Finance Operations (e.g. RPA implementation, systems upgrade/migration)
  • Manage and support any other business projects and initiatives assigned
Job Requirements
  • Degree or its equivalent professional certification in Accounting / Finance / Mathematics / Technology
  • At least 7 years' experience with minimum 5 years in the banking or finance sector
  • Strong understanding of processes, technology tools and data flow in the area of Finance Operations (including General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivables), and Financial Reporting
  • Experience with financial systems upgrade / migration
  • Experience and proficiency in MS Office Suite, SQL, RPA and Workflow software
  • Exposure to Data modelling and visualisation tools
  • Possess strong stakeholder management skills
  • Be a clear, confident and persuasive communicator, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to structure coherent, logical arguments
  • Results-driven team player with the ability to take initiative, handle multiple tasks and re-prioritize to meet timelines
  • Possess a curious nature; able to simultaneously deep dive and assess the big picture with an aptitude for process analysis and optimization
  • Motivated and inculcated to inspire a learning culture amongst peers and subordinates
