Job Description:We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate and Investment Banking, Global Liquidity & Cash Management (GLCM) team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.Job responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
Applies technical troubleshooting to breakdown solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity
Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Information systems / Engineering or related disciplines
Minimum 2 years of software engineering and cloud development experience
Experience in UI technologies such as React, Redux and Node
Strong Java development in Java tech stack - Java17, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, SQL and NoSQL
Possess a good understanding of Microservices principles and container based development and deployment in Kubernetes
Possess a good understanding and experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, Terraform), Applicant Resiliency, and Security
Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
Experience in public cloud or private cloud are preferable
Experience in Python
